COVID-19 Reopening Safety First Commitment

The OVG360 team at Macon Centreplex Coliseum + City Auditorium is excited to host live entertainment once more. It has been a honor to do so each year, and the past months have reminded us how privileged we are to work within the great community of Middle Georgia.

As always, our priority is the health and safety of everyone who enters our facility. We are taking every measure to ensure that we provide a safe environment for all our events by implementing cleaning and sanitizing procedures recommended by OVG’s corporate office as well as local health officials.

Things may look different at the Macon Coliseum and Macon City Auditorium when we reopen for events, but rest assured that we are doing a lot of little things that will make a big difference!

CLEAR BAGS

We have implemented a clear bag policy for all events.
Each patron will be limited to: (1) CLEAR BAG with maximum dimensions of 12” high x 6” deep x 12” wide; and (1) small handheld clutch purse or zipped wallet no larger than 8.5” x 5.5”. No other bags will be allowed inside the venue. Please do not carry any bags inside of the clear bag.
Patrons will be subject to a security screening with a handheld metal detection wand and a touchless bag search.

FACE COVERINGS

As of April 8, 2022, face coverings for staff, guests, and patrons are encouraged to be worn while entering the venue and while navigating public spaces like restrooms, concessions, etc. It will no longer be required. It will be left up to individual shows to include a mask policy, should they desire. Should an event require patrons to wear masks, it will be noted on the specific event page.

WELLNESS CHECKS

As of March 1, 2022, temperature checks will not be mandatory for persons entering the venue. It will be left up to individual shows to include this policy. Should an event require temperature checks, it will be noted on the specific event page. If temperature checks are in place, it will be done with a non-contact infrared forehead thermometer at the entrance upon arrival.
For the safety of our staff, patrons, and show personnel, anyone with a fever (defined as a temperature of 100.4˚F or above) will not be allowed to enter the venue.

COMMITMENT TO CLEAN

An increase in our cleaning and disinfecting staff that ensures quality sanitation before, during, and after events. Per CDC guidelines, the Macon Centreplex will be cleaned after every performance or event with EPA or NEA registered cleaning agents and disinfectants.

SANITIZING STATIONS

Multiple hand sanitizer stations have been added throughout the Macon Coliseum and Macon City Auditorium. Staff members and guests are encouraged to hand sanitize during entry and throughout their time within the venue.

CONTACTLESS OPTIONS

An emphasis will be placed on contactless ticket scanning using Mobile Tickets, restroom fixtures, and payment processing. We encourage payment with credit cards when possible.

Spectra is excited to be “Together Again” with our clients, vendors, and attendees. The following staff policies and event guidelines have been developed to assist you as you navigate the event planning process. We are committed to working with each event organizer to ensure their event is following the state and local guidelines, thus providing a safe environment for staff and attendees. While it is impossible to eliminate all risks of COVID-19 while attending an event, Spectra is confident we have mitigated many risks and can provide a clean, safe environment at the Macon Centreplex.
