On behalf of the Tubman Museum staff and the Board of Directors, there is concern about the safety and health of those who will be attending “All That Jazz” on January 22nd at the Macon City Auditorium.
Due to the rising COVID infection rate in Middle Georgia, the following protocols will be in place:
1. The Tubman Museum is requiring face coverings to be worn while in the venue. Masks are REQUIRED to be worn by guests, staff, and patrons while entering the venue and while navigating public spaces, except while eating and drinking during “All That Jazz Concert and Ball.”
2. The Tubman Museum will supply plastic face shields, face masks, and hand sanitizers to attendees seated at floor tables. In addition, a wristband will be provided for entry to the after-party at the Tubman. Upon arrival at the event on January 22nd, these attendees will receive the items identified.
The Tubman Museum will host a testing event on Thursday and Friday, January 20th and 21st from 3 PM to 5 PM and Saturday, January 22nd from 10 AM to 1 PM, at 310 Cherry Street, in the museum.
All attendees will be subject to a temperature check with a non-contact infrared thermometer upon arrival.
The Spectra Team has incorporated thorough cleaning and disinfecting protocols that ensures quality sanitation before, during, and after events.
