Fitness on the Patio – COMMIT Dance Fitness

Join us for Fitness on the Patio presented by Ambetter from Peach State Health Plan Sunday, October 11. Chutney Guyton will host the COMMIT workout and attendees will enjoy strawberry margaritas after class concludes! Participants must be 16 or older to participate in the workout. Class will start promptly at 11:00AM, check-in will start at 10:30AM.
Tickets are $20 per person and include an instructor-led workout along with a custom cocktail at the conclusion of class. Patrons must be 21+ to partake in the cocktail; however, non-alcoholic options will be made available for those who do not wish to consume alcohol or who are not 21 years of age. Classes are open to all participants age 16 or older.
COMMIT is a dynamic, fun-filled HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) style dance workout that was started in 2017. The classes are one hour long. The choreography for each routine focuses on essential fitness elements, and are created to a variety of music genres, including but not limited to pop, R&B, Carribean, and hip-hop. Each class also incorporates several routines designed with leveled intensity (LIT, or level intensity training) to allow students to increase their calorie burn and intensity of workout, while also providing multiple modifications for students of all fitness levels.
Tickets for Fitness on the Patio can be purchased by calling the Macon Coliseum Ticket Office at 478.233.8328 or by emailing [email protected] or [email protected] Monday through Friday 10AM to 5PM. Spaces are limited to 26 per class, don’t delay in registering today! Patrons can walk-up to attend the morning of a class as long as there are open spaces.
Workout classes will take place outdoors on the Cherry Street Patio at the Macon City Auditorium. Spaces will be outlined to maintain social distancing and we ask all attendees to adhere to social distancing guidelines when participating. Masks are required to be worn until a patron reaches his or her designated space for the work out. Please bring your own equipment, including but not limited to a mat and towel. More information will be provided specific to the class you register to attend.
Restrooms will be available onsite for class attendees. Water will be available for purchase if needed.
