HAVE YOU MADE CHANGES TO POLICIES FOR ATTENDING LIVE EVENTS?
Yes, given the restrictions and best practices issued by local agencies and the CDC, we have implemented new policies and procedures for guests when attending events at the Macon Centreplex. HOW IS COVID-19 IMPACTING MY EVENT?
The Macon Centreplex [Macon Coliseum and Macon City Auditorium] is aware of the concerns surrounding the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) in Georgia. The safety and well-being of our staff, guests, and performers is of highest importance, so we are working closely with artists scheduled to perform at the Macon Centreplex to discuss postponement of shows. DO YOU HAVE ON-SITE PARKING?
Parking for the Macon City Auditorium is street parking only. No parking allowed in Rosa Parks Square adjacent to the Auditorium or in any other unauthorized location.
WHAT DO YOU OFFER AT YOUR CONCESSION STANDS?
We offer hot dogs, hamburgers, French fries and chicken fingers as part of our standard food menu. Sodas, water, and alcohol are available at the concession stands as well, which are located on the lower level. Occasionally, additional bars may be set up on the Renasant Bank Plaza outside, inside the main bowl on the entry level, and/or upstairs on the outside balcony.
Alcohol is only available to patrons that are 21 and older with a valid I.D. Food & beverage items may vary based on the event.
WHAT ITEMS ARE PROHIBITED AT THE MACON CITY AUDITORIUM?
- Back packs or any oversized bags [Please review the Clear Bag Policy]
- Animals
- Cameras with professional lenses larger than 4 inches or removable lenses, tripods, monopods, and all other professional video and audio recording equipment
- Illegal drugs
- Large umbrellas [anything longer than 18” when fully collapsed is not allowed]
- Laser pointers, aerosol cans, and noise makers
- Outside food and beverage
- Bottles, Cans, or Coolers
- Distribution of unapproved promotional material
- Balloons
- Weapons or firearms*
*The Macon City Auditorium is a government owned facility. Access is controlled by security. Weapons/firearms are not permitted in these facilities. You may not carry or possess a weapon/firearm in this building. Violation of this prohibition may result in criminal prosecution. Exceptions extended to off-duty or retired law enforcement officers who can carry service weapons as long as they have proper credentials, enter the main entrance, and check in with our security supervisor.
DO YOU HAVE A LOST AND FOUND?
All found items are turned into the Administrative Office. Please call 478-803-1593 if you’re inquiring after the event has ended.
DO YOU ALLOW RE-ENTRY?
Macon City Auditorium maintains a strict no re-entry policy for all events.
WHERE ARE THE RESTROOMS LOCATED?
Restrooms are located in the lower level. There is one Accessible/Family restroom on the main concourse on the First Street side of the facility and a second on the Cherry Street Lane side of the facility.
WHAT IS YOUR SMOKING/TOBACCO POLICY?
Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited inside the Macon City Auditorium. A designated smoking area is available outside, on the Renasant Plaza on Cherry Street.
WHAT ARE YOUR BOX OFFICE HOURS?
The Macon City Auditorium Box Office is only open on event days. Please call 478-751-9232 to verify hours. You can purchase tickets at the Macon Coliseum Box Office open Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 10:00am-5:00pm. The Box Office is closed on the following holidays (unless there is an event): New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Tickets are only sold online through Ticketmaster or in person. No tickets will be sold over the phone.
WHAT IS YOUR TICKET POLICY?
All persons (age 2 and older) must present a ticket to enter the Macon City Auditorium. All ticket purchases are final. Please note, some shows may have a different policy, which will be noted on the corresponding event page.
