Where to Eat, Stay, and Play in Macon, GA

Before your Coliseum event starts, or after it ends, make sure to spend some time exploring Macon’s cultural and musical history. There are museums galore, including the Museum of Arts and Sciences, the Harriet Tubman African American Museum, and the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame Museum.

If you prefer to spend your downtime browsing the latest fashions, checking out new artists, or flipping through the selections at a funky local record shop, Macon’s ever-growing downtown scene offers boutiques, galleries, and specialty shops galore.
